Pathable is an on-line community, or “social network”, that becomes a part of your event or conference web site. Attendees fill out short profiles, then use the service to get to know other attendees, starting conversations around common interests, sessions, etc.
Pathable integrates with services like Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook to bring the user's business and social network into the context of an event. Pathable automatically identifies which of the attendees LinkedIn and Twitter contacts are attending, and gives them a chance to start conversations with those people in the context of the event itself.
